Life University Account Management
We are now utilizing Microsoft for our authentication needs. Please follow the steps below to set up your password:
This must be done before accessing any Life University online systems.
Note: Students do not have email hosted at Office.com. The link to student email can be found on the student dashboard at
life.edu (Instructions are below)
Account Setup Instructions
- Go to OFFICE.COM
- Select the "Sign in" button
- Enter your full LIFE email address and password
- Follow the guided process to create a new password and set up account management and multi-factor authentication
Instructions on Setting Up Microsoft Authenticator
Follow the on-screen instructions during the sign-in process to configure the Microsoft Authenticator app for multi-factor authentication.
Password Changes
- Sign into Office.com and select your "account manager" icon
- Select "View Account"
- Find the Password Category and select "CHANGE PASSWORD"
- Enter your new password
Password Requirements
- Minimum length of at least 8 characters
- Must contain both upper and lowercase characters
- Must contain at least one special character
- Must include at least one number
- Must not have 5 consecutive characters from the username
- Must not be a palindrome (same forward and backward)
- Must not contain any character more than twice consecutively
How to Login to Student Email as a New Student
- This link will take you to the login page: Student Email
- Sign in with username@student.life.edu and the password set in the above steps
- You should now be logged in to your student email
